دکتر خلیل فرهادی در سال 1344 در شهرستان ارومیه متولد شد و تحصیلات متوسطه را در شهرستان ارومیه به پایان رساند و مدرک لیسانس را از دانشگاه ارومیه و فوق لیسانس را از دانشگاه تبریز و دکتری را از دانشگاه رازی اخذ نمود و هم اینک استاد گروه شیمی در گرايش تجزيه دانشکده علوم دانشگاه ارومیه می باشند
